In this 2016 diary, I will present the thoughts and experiences of language learners in the hope that they might help you to learn English.
The internet is full of advice on how to learn a language. Most blog posts and videos are just a paraphrase of what has been said before. However, in this video, Vladimir, a Polygot (a person that speaks many languages) differentiates languages that may be 'easy' or 'difficult ' to learn. He proposes that this depends on how similar your mother-tongue is to the new language.
For example, I'm learning Spanish which has many similarities to English as it has the same roots. Therefore it should be much easier for me to learn it rather than Arabic which has a different script.
Listen and subscribe to Vladimir's channel if his suggestions resonate with you (make sense).
